The U.S. Energy
Information Administration (EIA) announced on Thursday that natural gas
inventories surged by 88 billion cubic feet (bcf) in the week that ended April 18. This
was the 6th straight weekly build in natural gas
inventories.
Economists had forecast an advance of 65 bcf.
The previous week witnessed a rise of 16 bcf.
